Our merino lace is extra-fine, 2-ply and very well balanced, so it won't curl up on you while you're knitting. This classic yarn has an almost crunchy feel to it, like some raw silk/wool blends. The result is crisp stitch definition, and garments that really sing after blocking. One skein is plenty for a small shawl or basic stole. Try two skeins for more complex heirloom knits - which suits the traditional feel of this yarn beautifully.
